Review a pre-built campaign for your practice and click approve. That is it. We handle the patient outreach, email sequences, refill reminders, and reorder logistics. Your name and brand are on the program. Your time investment is measured in minutes, not hours.

Do I need to stock inventory or manage fulfillment?

Accepted Answer

No. You purchase bottles from us at wholesale when a patient orders. We handle warehousing, packing, and shipping directly to patients. However, you have the option of purchasing from us and selling in your clinic too.

Question 3

How do I set my pricing and what margin can I expect?

Accepted Answer

You set your own retail price. We show you our wholesale cost upfront and you keep the difference. We can advise you on the retail price based on all our competitive business intelligence, and any promos we will run on your behalf to increase uptake amongst your patients.

Is this HIPAA-compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Patient names and emails are handled under a signed Business Associate Agreement. Each practice’s patient information is fully isolated — no data is shared across practices. The data is encrypted at rest and in transit. All outreach uses compliant email infrastructure with proper consent flows built in.

Will this feel spammy to my patients?

Every message goes out under your name and practice brand — not ours. The email sequences are educational and clinically framed, not promotional. Patients receive content about their protocol, adherence tips, and refill reminders. We do not use discount countdown timers, urgency tactics, or anything that would feel out of place coming from your office.

Those platforms give you a storefront and expect you to drive traffic to it. Medixa drives the traffic for you, and gives you only clinically-proven products. We build the campaign, write the emails, and run the outreach — you just approve it. You also are not competing with thousands of other practitioners on a shared marketplace. Your program is yours.

What is the commitment? Can I pause or stop?

There is no long-term contract. You can pause or discontinue your program at any time. Active patients on a refill cycle are given advance notice before any program ends.

How does the automated outreach actually work? Is it just a canned message sequence?

Accepted Answer

No. Each patient message is generated by an AI layer that personalizes content based on where the patient is in their protocol, their order history, and their engagement with previous messages. A patient who has not opened the last two emails receives a different message than one who opened and clicked. A patient approaching their refill date receives a different message than one who just reordered. The system runs on AI agents on a structured schedule.

Can I see what the AI is doing on my behalf at any time?

Yes. Your practice dashboard shows every patient touchpoint — what was sent, when, whether it was opened, and what action the patient took. Every automated decision is logged and visible. Nothing happens in the dark. If you want to review a message before it goes out, you can set your program to require your approval for any outreach. Most practitioners prefer to let it run automatically after reviewing the initial campaign, but the control is always yours.

Your patient list, order history, email sequences, and revenue data are completely separate from every other practice on the platform — they are not shared, aggregated, used for training, or cross-referenced with other practitioners' data. This is enforced at the infrastructure level, not just by policy.

Is Medixa built on any AI infrastructure I should know about?

The platform uses large language model APIs for message personalization and patient journey management, with each practice's program running as an isolated workflow. Specifically we use NVIDIA's NeMo-powered health agents. Outreach AI agents operate on a defined schedule and report back to a central monitoring layer — the Medixa team can see every active program across the platform without accessing individual patient data.
